My Design Process
1. Proposal & onboarding
Every successful project begins with clarity and strategic alignment. Following our initial discussions, I will provide a detailed proposal outlining the project scope, timeline and investment. Once the proposal is approved, the brief is signed off and the initial 50% deposit is received, your project is officially scheduled into my calendar.
2. Initial concepts & research
With the brief established and any necessary client assets provided (such as copy, imagery, or existing brand guidelines), work begins on a strong, research-led foundation. Through in-depth research into your target audience, key competitors, and industry trends, initial visual directions are explored. To maintain focus without overwhelming the decision-making process, you will typically be presented with two to three distinct design options, complete with a clear creative rationale explaining how each aligns with your commercial goals.
3. Revisions & project timelines
Once a preferred direction is selected, the design is refined through a structured feedback process. This step includes up to 2-3 included rounds of targeted revisions to perfect details such as colour palettes, typography, and layout. Clear review windows are agreed upon at each stage to keep the project running smoothly - turnaround times rely on timely client feedback, and any major scope changes or additional revision rounds requested beyond the agreed brief are quoted separately prior to proceeding.
4. Final delivery & asset handover
Upon final design sign-off and settlement of the remaining balance, full copyright and usage rights for the bespoke design work transfer to you. You will receive a complete artwork package tailored to your exact technical requirements, including master vector and raster logo files (AI, PNG, JPG), print-ready and web-ready assets, and (where applicable) comprehensive brand guidelines to ensure consistent visual application across your business.
